Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty Clown
1930’s, Schoenhut (USA) Humpty Dumpty Circus Clown, This fabulous clown has been completely refurbished, known as the Humpty Dumpty Clown it was first produced in 1903 after the patent for the figure was granted. Quickly popular the ‘Circus’ range grew to around 37 animals, 29 figures and over 40 accessories. These Schoenhut figures were all able to balance and hang due to their clever design. The company went out of business in 1935 during the depression therefore this clown is close to 100 years old. He comes complete with an old advertising Sanatogen tin. Approx. 7cm wide x 25cm high x 8cm deep x 420g weight. Very good condition.
